Subsea Project
Project Description:
The Gemini
Field Development is located in the Gulf of Mexico Mississippi
Canyon Block 292. The water depth is 3,400 ft. Gemini is a 28-mile
tie back of three gas wells to a shallow water platform in Viosca
Knoll Block 900. The field is configured as a cluster arrangement
with a four-slot subsea manifold. The manifold is tied back to
the platform with dual 12-inch piggable flowlines. The system
is designed for a production rate of 180 MMSCFD.
Scope of Services:
INTEC assisted
Texaco in developing the field concept and worked as part of the
integrated project team to define the concept, fabricate equipment
and install the subsea system. INTEC services included:

* Conceptual Design
* Front End Engineering Design
* Systems Engineering
* SIT Planning and Execution
* Project Quality Control
* Subsea Documentation Control
* Subsea Offshore Installation Technical Advisor
INTEC services
began in January 1997 and continued through first gas in June
of 1999.
