BAYU-UNDAN TIMOR SEA, AUSTRALIA
Bayu-Undan lies within the Australia/Indonesia zone. Bayu and
Undan were both discovered in 95. Estimated field recovery of around, 400 million barrels of hydrocarbon liquids
and over 3tcf of gas is projected.
Life expectancy of this field is upwards of 20 years. Over 25 wells will be required to fully produce all assets
of Bayu and Undan. This project is two phased and costing over $1 billion USD for the first stage. The first stage
will handle the wet gas separation and storage and re-injection of gas into the field.
A team development between Fluor Daniel and Worley was awarded for the engineering and construction contracts.
The development will include a well head platform, CUQ and FSO platform. The CUQ will also house the drilling production
and processing.
Flow lines will run between WHP and DPP at a length of 16km plus. The lines between the DPP and the FSO will run
just over 2km.
Phase two will mainly be centered around gas production.
